This set allows children to examine shapes, colors, symmetry and tessellation. #1162 uses a triangular base and comes with ten double-sided work cards which help children learn about properties of triangles that come in different shapes and colors. By getting triangles (green), trapezoids (red), diamonds (blue), and hexagons (yellow) to match a pattern it is possible to create many imaginative patterns. The cards progress in complexity and are numbered so children are able to learn gradually and follow a system. the difficulty of the picture card, and cultivate children's cognition of shape and symmetry.
